Barrierefreiheitserklärung

We, Wissenschaftliche Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, are committed to ensuring that our website, our information and our services https://www.efsm.online are as accessible as possible to all users, regardless of possible limitations. We therefore endeavour to prepare our content in such a way that it can be easily used by people with different abilities. To this end, we are continuously working to improve accessibility and comply with recognised standards, such as the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG).

1. status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with the recognised standards due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

The review is based on an assessment carried out by the tool https://wave.webaim.org in accordance with the legal requirements and globally applicable standards. The home page and an exemplary article page were checked.

Contrasts

Texts and visual elements have a sufficient contrast ratio.

Language

The website provides a language attribute so that screen readers can select the correct pronunciation for a voice output.

Use of ARIA labels

ARIA attributes and roles are used for a better structure.

2. Non-accessible content

The content, functions or sections listed below are currently not accessible. These temporary exceptions are due, for example, to disproportionate burdens or technical restrictions.

Alternative texts

Images and other visual elements (e.g. buttons, links, graphics, if available) do not always contain a text form of the information displayed that can be read by screen readers.

Forms and input fields

There is (one) form field(s) without labelling. It is difficult to navigate to the form field with screen readers.

Keyboard operability

Not all interactive components (e.g. forms, buttons, if available) are designed to be accessible via different input methods, such as keyboard or touch.

Content structure of the website

Not all content (e.g. tables, lists, if available) is structured and described in such a way that it can be recognised and understood with the help of screen readers.

Headings and page structure

There are jumps in the heading hierarchy. Assistive technologies, such as screen readers or keyboard operation, can be restricted by this.
